Bob, I think all a-arms have the reinforcements, where you drill the holes, the arms are made up of two layers of metal. If you go with stock sway bar, the stock attachment method will probably hold

Yes, it did. A stock 9/16" bar from a later Sprite or Midget will bolt right in. You may want to examine your A arms to see if they are drilled for a sway bar- three holes in the front of the A arm.
