When I've had to install bushings for which I couldn't find ones long enough I use two pieces. However I don't use one complete bush and then just a small segment. I use two pieces both of which are

I'd rather not "close off the area"! IMHO the butterfly spindles should be oiled regulary. After closing with the JB Wled job, this cannot be done anymore. The list's opinion please... Cheers, Hans '

I didn't close off the area so the spindles couldn't be oiled. The protruding shafts can still be on the outside of each carb. I only closed off the space around the throttle shaft on the inside of
