Does the ban on modified I beam axles include Allard style swing axles? The early 1950's Allards had a stock Ford I beam cut in half with a pivot welded to the inner end. Lotus used the same setup on

Last year there was an Allard at speed week and ran in the 190mph range. It also spun a couple of times. I don't think the axle had anything to do with it, just a old Englishman wanting to go fast.
