I think the foam is a bad idea. It soaks up moister like no tomorrow. My 74 beetle did this around the rear scuttle vents. It turned out the foam insulation was holding water. Roger -- Roger Helman 7

Don't even think of putting PU-foam in there, even if no water gets sprayed onm it, there is always air humidity and PU is ideal for keeping it long in there, result, obviously rotting sills. Nice o
