It appears that I've got a little up and down play in the passenger side kingpin. I've been reading all of the past posts about this in the archive, and it sounds like a real pain in the butt to fix

The problem is that there could be a couple of sources of the play. If it's endfloat, then _probably_ nothing bad is going to happen _real_ soon. If it's severe metal loss in the lower A-arm fulcrum

King pin thread?.... hmmmm, probably the fulcrum pin thread(s) actually. But, ascertain that it is the fulcrum pin or king pin. Fulcrum pin repair can get involved... pro fisherman David C explained
