Now that looks good! Thanks Alan and all. I have a tool that is flat. It is a wrench of sorts that is about 7 inches long with one tooth. It is not good. I will try this or a plumbing device suggeste

The ODs on the BN1s used a plug with a large hex cast in. Part #866-250 from Moss. Kind of pricy at $74.95. Bill Lawrence

Scott, I too bought one of these toothed sockets, and it works great. A bit heavy, and you still have to keep upward pressure on it, but it well worth it for the annual drain and refill ritual. Bruce
