During the off season I'm converting the car from F-Production to the new limited prep formula in H-Production. Part of this conversion is changing from the 1296 to the 1500...to go along with that

If I remember correctly, the larger runner manifolds came on the 1970 MkIII, 1971-72 MkIV and 1500's up to 1974. BL choked down the later 1500's for emissions purposes. I don't believe the head port

I recently flowed an new stock1.0 inch manifold, 28" of water, manifold only, #3 port only, 85cfm. I also flowed a 1.25 under the same conditions, 105cfm. If you can do onything to them, the most imp

Pardon my ignorance, but why would you use such high pressure differentials to flow a head ? Wouldn't just a few inches of water be more similar to actual conditions ? Seems like you'd want the valv

Yikes, what do you have for a flow bench, a blower and a 350 chebbie? Oh, wait, that's water not mercury. Never mind. I recently flowed an new stock1.0 inch manifold, 28" of water, manifold only, #3

Thanks to everyone for the information. I think we know what we're going after. Hopefully we can make some horsepower with this formula. No combustion chamber work only port matching no further than

You're thinking of inches of mercury, multiply by 13.6 to get inches of H2O, so 28 in.H2O = 2 in.Hg. I was just demonstrating differing pressure differentials to a customer while flowing his head. A
