Welcome fellow LAT 9 owner. You've discovered the secret as to why these wheels are rare. Mounting used to be a pain until modern tire mounting machines. They can mount a tire on a LAT 9 easily. Now

The solution to balancing is to find a shop that spin balances with a strobe. Current balancing machines even those that can remove the shaft do not work with LAT 9 wheels. Depending on where you are

I am familiar with the devices that Steve describes. They come in three sizes 13,14,15 in wheel size and are held to the side of the wheel by a ring that is pressed against the wheel. The problem is
