The Thunderbolt was a six wheel vehicle. The front was four wheels with the leading wheels narrower then the trailing front wheels. Any picture from a front angle looks like the wheels are staggered

I'm no real expert, but I would have thought that the offset front wheel arrangement shouldn't cause too many problems considering that Al Teague has used the arrangement to run at over 400mph. Mike
