My guess would be a slight imperfection in the mating surfaces between the flare on the pipe(s) and the concave surface in the cylinder(s). This usually happens on lines that need to hold pressure (

Hi Kurt, There is a possibility that the fitting on the bottom of the can is leaking & running down to appear as a fitting leak. The can to fitting seal may need replacing. Dave Russell BN2

I had a very small leak in those hydraulic lines. The leak was in the seam of the steel lines; it had split at the fitting and up the seam causing a very slow leak. It can be hard to detect this typ
