Hi Phil, Likely the biggest problem will be the rear brakes locking up in a panic stop. This can be easily taken care of with a set of pads in the front that have a much higher friction/grabbing abil

Isn't there a check valve involved, too? By limiting myself to RWA Midgets, I manage to dodge the issue completely, but I seem to recall someone having problems with his disk brake conversion becaus

Jim, RWA stands for Round Wheel Arch and refers to the bodywork at the rear wheels. The Bugeye could be called an RWA, but the only "box Spridgets" that are RWA are the 72-74 model years (started in

There is a 1/2 fast check valve in the brake master. It's a plastic valve and it comes with the rebuild kit. More juice to the front hole. Nothing like that funky fitting on the later Spridgets where
