Has anyone ever tried replacing the electric fuel pump with a mechanical one that bolts on the crankase on a "later" 12V engine? I'd like to hear your experiences with that. Now I have a Marina engin

I have a mechanical on mine. Make sure your camshaft has a lobe to drive it. I run it on my slighly modified 1275 with a 45 DCOE Weber and it is fine. Webers do not like high fuel pressure, 3 - 5 ps

Hi Evangelos, Considering that my1500 Midget, running twin HS4s use a mechanical pump, and revs up to 6000 when needed, then thet set-up should be fine for a 1275 on twin HS2s Guy
