- Hi listers; When I was spending the accustomed couple of hours with the 77 the other night, I decided to remove the mirrors, to clean both them, and underneath. These are the later door mounted type.

- The original mirror base plate is plastic and has two pegs which push through the sheetmetal. When the mirror self tapping screws tighten in these they expand kinda like a rivet to hold the assembly
