one more thing to check is the bushing that the input shaft goes into. If worn it will squeel. ...Art

Is the friction material bonded or riveted to the plate? Usually clutch plates work up to the point where the rivets start contacting, but I suppose a bonded plate could get 'skinny' enough to loose
