- one more thing to check is the bushing that the input shaft goes into. If worn it will squeel. ...Art

- Is the friction material bonded or riveted to the plate? Usually clutch plates work up to the point where the rivets start contacting, but I suppose a bonded plate could get 'skinny' enough to loose
