I use 15W-40 oil that meets the diesel standards. It has a higher detergent content and is supposed to work better than regular oil for cars that are driven infrequently. Scott Isensee /// unsubscrib

Rick, How does that work? I would expect synthetics to pick up as much contamination as non-synthetic oils. Do they have an additive that neutralizes acid better or something? Scott Isensee /// unsub
