I have the same setup--1500, Crane XR700, Weber Downdraft carb. I set mine at about 8 and it does fine. I found out also that it runs better, for some reason, with the vacuum off and plugged. Now tha

Don't see how the electronic can advance itself. It's simply screwed to the plate in the dizzy and gets advanced by the centrifugal weights. The vacuum advance is just that. At high vacuum, read that

Thanks for all the suggestions, can I update you on where we stand and get your thoughts? The car starts and idles pretty well, sounds 'cammy' but other than that fine, exhaust doesn't seem black or

I've heard they are happy with low consistent pressure which is why I got the regulator originally and set it at two, but I'd be interested to hear any thoughts on this from someone who knows more th

I would check the Weber to see what fuel pressure it is looking for. I think the problem may be the lack of the regulator. Bill --Original Message-- <SNIP> The fuel regulator is off because it was br
