- Hi Frank, Yes, the front UJ is high on my list of suspects. How can I assess it visually, with it concealed as it is? I haven't noticed any vibration, but maybe it's not that far gone yet...? Andy

- How about the carbon throw out bearing ? That might explain the clicking noise going away when the clutch pedal is depressed. Mark H. AN5
