Hi Scott, Just an un-educated guess, but the nitrous is an oxygen source, so having the throttle off limits the fuel flow, but the nitrous carries on, making a really lean mixture? Aside from that, c

It has been my experience that a motor that is on the lean side already will self-destruct when the nitrous is applied. I, too experienced a melt down similar to yours. I also like to run a little h
