Just took it for a drive and no overdrive. They say most overdrive problems are electrical. Do I need a test light to test for 12v at the overdrive solenoid wire? That's my only guess. Tyson Sherman

Testing for power at the solenoid is, of course, important. However, use a voltmeter, not a test light. A friend and I once spent most of a day changing parts on an overdrive which would not engage,
