- Oh yeah... I was driving my wifes 82 Scirrocco up to Burlington VT for a ski trip. Out on I 89 near Montpilliar or so, the timing pulley fell off front of the crank. Screwed up the Woodruff key slot.

- Trade the old Sube in for a 2.5 liter Forester or Legacy!. Our 98 Forester is great in sun, rain and snow. PLEASE don't get lulled into a CRV or Rav4. My 2 bits as a quirky Subaru convertee. Tim ____
