- Notice the novice, not the newbie...means this particular repair is a first time for me. Story: clutch on a 76B, 4 speed works fine before this situation...clutch hydraulics disappear on a nice Sunda

- Certainly sounds like air in the hydraulics, but to be sure put the car up on ramps and measure the travel of the slave pistion while someone operates the pedal - you should see about 1/2" of travel.
