- I neglected to mention in my last post that I do have overdrive! Sorry about that. I assume the tranny and od share the same oil, but I cannot use GL-4? Thanks Gary, Frances Nafziger Wellman, Iowa

- Actually, you *can* use GL-4 in an OD tranny. That's what I've used in my A-type OD for the past year. You do NOT want a GL-5, but then you already knew that. :-) Others have recommended motor oil (
