- I've been using Castrol 20w - 50 in my Midget for so long because of the tired condition of the old engine, that I never thought about using another weight in my newly rebuilt engine until a friend

- Hi Robert, I have been using 5w-30 year round in my 948 rebuilt engine. 4000 miles so far and no problems. Oil pressure comes up a lot faster than 20w-50 and is around 35-45 at idle when hot. Peter S
