- Well the easy way is to sell the car... I am not sure you can seal one of these up so it does not leak. I have built a few Alpine engines and you can get them fairly tight but they will leak. the pan

- Hi Mike I am also on the Hillman list and this oil dribbling problem has been discussed there as well. One solution after correctly installing all the bits was to fit a positive crankcase ventilation
