- I bought a stainless steel kettle at Walmart for $6.99 a couple of weeks back. This evening I emptied some water out and it was brown. Sure 'nuff the freaking thing is rusting from the inside! Happy

- There are many grades of SS. And SS is not the perfect metal. It doesn't oxidize like other steels but it isn't impervious to elements, either.

- That must go with my stainless steel roll-a-round cooler for the patio. 5 lbs of ice and a six pack of 12 ounce cans and the legs bent! So it sat outside on the deck all summer cause my wife paid too
