Alan, There are two copper washers that go on the front stud of the oil filter. The larger ID washer goes on first then the banjo fitting followed by the smaller ID washer. An acorn nut caps off the

Tony (or anybody else out there), I've got a '52 +4 with the Standard Vanguard engine. As far as I have been able to determine, it does not have the one-shot oiling system. Was this an option or did

Hi Chuck, Every reference to +4's that have read indicates that the "semi-automatic" oiling system was a feature of +4's right from the beginning. Ken Hill lists the oiling system on his description
