what does it look like? i am moving and cleaning out the last of my tiger parts. i came across a pcv valve that i saved. it may be original or it may not be. how do i tell? it is on an original pcv h

The original pcv hose has a yellow stripe. The original PCV (valve) is metal, and can be unscrewed for cleaning all the insides. Not a throw-away, although too many have. Steve -- Steve Laifman Edito

Steve, I think you are confused with the yellow striped brake booster vacuum But you are correct about the PCV valve. I will add that it screws into a brass right-angle hose fitting. Gary -- Original

Gary, the PCV valve fits into a rubber grommet in the valve cover.Going toward the carb. 1st its screws into a brass elbow which connects to a black hose with a hose clamp on each end this goes into

Any thoughts on the difference between Rootes part number "6100215" and "6100825"? The first is listed as MK I - "crankcase ventilation regulator" and the second refers to the same piece for the MK I
