FWIW -- I've had occasions when he car seemed down on power that turned out not to be fuel. Once, I had my carbs on a borrowed engine. My engine worked fine with the carbs but not the borrowed one, w

This is a problem most TR vintage racers run into when an engine like this is run at full throttle for an extended period of time. The less expensive fuel pumps will simply not supply enough fuel to

BTW, there are a lot of alternatives to insufficient fuel delivery. You should check your float levels very carefully. The best way is to pull the emulsion tubes and look down them with a flashlight.

Sounds like deja vu all over again. The little holley regulators really bug me. Mine started to do the dance last weekend. It's always the same--the pressure drops and you wind up cranking it way up

If the fuel pressure always stays around the 3.5 psi mark, then you are getting enough fuel delivery. if the volume drops off the pressure will drop also. Sounds like there may be another problem. th

I would not think that pumps in series would be that much of an improvement, though in parallel might do the job if there was enough line to flow the volume. Something that seems to be overlooked is
