Hi Dave, I'll agree with that. When my present top wears out (1 yr old) I'm going to get one of the black folding frames and a zippered top. The gray folder I now have is a PITA. CR '69 B

Hmmm, I think I read somewhere that "the hood is completely different and not interchangeable" or words to that effect. For one thing, I can't see how your packaway hood would attach to the rear cowl

The folding hood as I understand it is very similar to the packaway; you still have to attach the rear bar to the tonneau panel, do all the lift the dots, etc. You still have to roll it up to put it

I love my fold-down top! I have seen the "pack-away" users standing in the rain trying to put the top up, whereas I can just stop at a set of traffic lights and have the top up before they turn green
