I think you need to see a different PPG rep. The Blue colors all start with 1. all the yellow Triumph colors in PPG paint start wit an 8. I have found that many of the older colors have been retired

Pale Yellow is available from ICI in a modern urethane called "2K". The ICI code number is 3220. I did a sprayout of it last March. 1-800-647-6050 is ICI customer service--call to find a local shop.

As with other paint colors, the name Pale Yellow was reissued in the form of another shade. The Primrose color carries a different mix code from the earlier Pale yellow according to the PPG people.

I remember the Ice Blue (secret? :-) ). But I wasn't aware of the Pale Yellow peril. Pale and Primrose were originally two different names for the same color, circa 1958-60. Could it be that someone,

Joe, My records show only one Pale Yellow used on Triumphs. It was used on TR3's, ICI 3220. If PPG reissued the color with another paint code in 1966 after TR3's ceased production, was it to update
