Think about just getting a small Bendix electric for about $40 and mounting it on the inner fender. That's a lot cheaper than finding a MB part. Not 100% original, but it works. Get personalized emai

I've tried that too. A six cylinder Chevy practically drops in. A SBC hits everything, but a SBF fits nicely. I have put all three in a Mercedes in years past. My 22D with a 5.0 Mustang motor was one
