- I just got a new parts washer and wondered what the current ideas are for solvent. I am considering paint thinner (deodorized mineral spirits), Simple Green, the purple Permatex stuff, or some stuff

- Agitene or Super agitene, made by Graymills. Available from industrial supply places. They're the same solvent, but Super Agitene has a lanolin moisturizer added so it's not as rough on your hands.

- I have the Safety Kleen unit you describe as well and it already has a disposable bag filter built into the area where the pump is and it came with an extra one as well. Haven't had to change it yet.
