If you do intend to drive it on the street at all, the C4 would be a better alternative. The powerglide's gear ratios and two speeds usually require a very loose converter to get the car off the line

It is not recommended to run a spool on the street. Might have a bit of trouble turning corners. The ideal is an air locker. When unlocked it is an open diff. When locked, it is like a spool. Air loc
