At Maxton couldn't drivers which need a push start use the small area behind the starting line to get going. Unless things have changed from last year the wait to go at Maxton is only a few minutes,

Having always push started at Maxton, my proceedure is to be pushed to 30/35 mph so I can let the clutch out or in the case of the automatic, put it in gear and then 'Hammer the go pedal'...not be pu
