Many electric fuel pumps put out too much pressure for the needle and seat on alpine carbs (especially CD150s). If you use an electric pump, consider also a regulator to reduce the pressure. Jarrid

I beleive the mech pump pressure specs are in the manual, I wouldnt go beyond 1.5 psi. If you have the specs for the elec pump, it will tell what the max pressure will be (no flow). I put a 3.5 PSI

Darn I used to have a flow control and gauge ....Guess it will be back to a new one.. with a gauge to set the pressure. ..But 1.5 pds isn't much though is it. I do have a brand spankin new pump.. it
