I was looking at this 66 Sprite on eBay 200076263378 and it appears the rear is higher than my 62 making for a little more wheel clearance. Is the 66 higher than the 62 or is it just an optical illu

My 64 had that "stinkbug" look, sitting too high in the rear due to longer leaf springs from a later model, so we put the right springs in and now the left rear tire rubs on the inside of the fender.

You can grind about 3/8ths of an inch off the inner fender lip... but you have to be careful if you're trying to preserve good paint. You can "rool" the fender out with a suitable sized dowel or base

That Ebay '66 looks way high, much more than my '66. I have 175R60-13 on fake minilights on our car, and as purchased, the tires rubbed the inner fenders. The lips had been rolled, and I rolled them
