Firgure a couple dollars a square inch, and there are alot of square inches on any car. first they will have to take eveything down to bare metal. Then buff the sheet metal, coat the sheet metal with

I triple chrome plated almost everything (headlight rings, bumpers, front grill, door handles (inside and out), window cranks, windshield trim, side window frames, dash frame, instrument gauge rings

I took the instruments to a speedo shop who took the rings off and out them back on after rechroming them. Wasn't much money. It also gives you a chance to clean out the gauges. Gary C 1966 1600 1668

I've heard that speedo shops have a tool that they use to uncrimp those bezels without damaging them, but I don't have any proof. Calspeed is right, though, trying to do it by hand is only a waste of

Thanks for all the gauge ring removal replys. I checked with the local speedo shop about removing the rings. He said he knew of a great shop in CA that he could ship them to but couldn't do anything
