- Anybody using Red Line oil in their stock gearboxes? I know ideally 30 wt non-detergent is what's spec'd but seems hard to find these days, so I'm wondering if going the Red line route whether to use

- Use shock heavy not shock lite - just an fyi. The lite is their racing formula. For what it's worth (Stephen Stills said that) - I have always run shock heavy in my Harley box with nice results in sh

- This place has Valvoline for $2.99/qt. www.shopatmidway.com Ace hardware also carries their own brand of 30wt. non-detergent...usually around the lawnmower stuff. BZ

- Thanks - I will go after this stuff. When I first started using Redline in my Harley it was a good 5 years ago. Obviously things have changed with more products that are specific to the need. Redline
