- Don't know what a "44ah" battery is... the size usually recommended in the US is Group 26. I have had no problems with my Delco, and it is around 10 years old. Evangelos G. Makris had this to say: --

- I just happened to have a dead group 26 sitting outside. The measurements are 8'' x 6 3/4" by 7" deep or 20.2cm x 17cm by 18cm deep. The first measurement is across the terminals. It's a pretty tigh
