The headlight rims are spring loaded. Carefully pry them off. If you look closely, you'll see one of the spring assemblies and that will provide you a place to start. Bill '76B

It is doubtful whether 30 year old wiring, switches and connectors are up to the job of the factory lighting! *Any* upgrade really should be accompanied by relays and ideally separate fusing for each

About a month ago, there was a link to a wiring company that had a kit for upgrading headlights. Seems $50 got you wiring that included relays and connections. Seems like a good deal.
