Charlie- I removed one from a Mk1 that I found setting after several years. I have one of Eds but it is setting on the amusement center as opposed to my daily driver Mk1. When the heat breaks I will

The instrument voltage stabilizer only supplies voltage to the gas gauge and the temp gauge. The tach is on its own. If the gauges, except the tach, are working OK, then the stabilizer is OK. Sorry
