Use Lindsay Porter's "DIY Guide to MGB Purchase and Restoration" as Joseph said. But I'd also invest in "Original MGB" by Anders Clausager. This book gives you lots of good photos and info about how

I feel that Porter's book is hugely overrated. I own it, and also owned his book on Modifications to the MGB, which IMHO was worth even less(sold it). The major shortcoming from my perspective is tha
