- Anyone know how to get the knob off the rheostat that controls the dash lights? Is it a press fit on the shaft or what? My rheostat seems is non-functional and no longer rotates (seems to be seized),

- there is a small hole in the knob's shaft. a small finishing nail w/ point ground flat and a pair of pliers to push it with has worked for me in the past. Safety Fast, David Deutsch
