ron i cant remember if you said that you had used some nice used valves? if so i think you might encounter a problem there. reguardless of what they might look like they have an established wear patt

Yeah, I should have known better. The springs, it turns out, were new (checked my receipts). So, the only thing reused on the engine was the valves. Rocker assembly is new. The cam isn't all that rad

Ron, I don't think I ever bought a new valve. Clean em up and run em till the end. I have (once) stuck used rod bearings in an engine for a temporary fix. I never did make a permanant fix on that eng
