You have a new cam right? So, 1/2 hours at 2-3000 rpm in neutral (i.e. no load) to bed in the cam/lifters. Then drive it keeping it under 3500 or so with a mixture of load /no load. Do this for a few

Ditto. I also retorqued the head after running in the cam. Frank Clarici also told me "don't be wuss - drive the hell out of it." From previous experience, I preferred the more conventional method Mi
