- if i remember correctly, all jets for s.u. are the same size.please correct me if that is not the case. the problem i have is that the rear carb will not run lean...as a matter of fact even with the

- There are .90" and .100" SU jets. All 1 1/4 carbs take the .90 Is the needle set in the piston correctly? Did you try switching pistons to see if this made a difference? Good luck Frank -- Frank Cla

- crash and/or frank, thanks for the responses. yes, the needles are in tight and flush with the bottom of the piston. if it makes a difference in jet sizes i have 1 1/8" carbs. i just switched needles

- to all, the culprit was the jet. i replaced it and now both carbs respond well to jet adjustments. tomorrow we warm her up and adjust properly. thanks to all. alex
