TRF lists two different spring cases; one for TR2 and TR3, the other for TR3A/B. Has one of these been discontinued?

I have a '57 TR3, and I guess it has the earlier seat frames. The spring cases supplied by TRF are not the correct shape to fit into the frame, although they seem correct on the top where the fabric

Finally a question I (should be able) can answer.... Working from memory (the TR3's in the garage, and the TR2's in Dad's garage 40 miles away).... The TR2 springs have a more "squared off" front. M

I rebuilt the seats in my TR4 with the older seats over the winter. They turned out really nice a VERY comfortable. I bought everything from TRF. The old springs were very thin and rusted to a fair-
