- The significance of the yellow or blue paint was to tell the men on the assembly line which one to grab for which side. It was easier to grab a yellow colored shock for the right side (correct?) tha

- We use a similar technique in the salvage industry, the color changes from place to place, but the best I have come across is Red for Right, and blue for whatever is left..... Mark Snowdon Counterman
