Your driving style needs a tweak. Actually the downdraft Webers are known to have a flat spot on stamping on the gas. They flat can be mostly tuned out, but as far as mine goes, I never fully got rid

Just an FYI - I am about to install a OER 45U side draft which is a Japanese version of the Weber. Supposedly they have dealt with this flat spot issue. I will know for sure as soon as I get it into
