7/16 fine, not sure of the thread count, 24 sounds about right. They are just allen head set screws about 3/8 to 1/2" long. Any REAL hardware store should have them in stock. HD is not a real hardwar

No. I just came from the garage where I was doing just that, putting in the new SS set screws I got from McMasters-Carr today. 10 srews for $6.23. They are 7/16x20. I got 1/2" long, just barely stick
